You can meet the guy of your dreams on gay dating sites
Gay dating sites have revolutionised the lives of gay and bi men in the last 13 years. Where sites like facebook have rewritten the way people socialise and make friends, gay sites like Gaydar and Mothership Gay Dating have pioneered a sexual revolution in gay guys.
In the UK, it started properly with Gaydar who in 1999 introduced the first website where you could see live who was online right now. Gaydar enjoyed explosive growth while gay men quickly caught on to the addictive new way of cruising for casual hook-ups.
Later, sites like Fitlads and Mothership brought a social element to online gay dating, and their communities of like-minded guys could hang out and chat online, as well as cruising for sex, and in many cases with the hope of a more serious loving relationship too. Read the rest of this entry »

Stop spammers on Mothership Gay Dating

However you can help. If you spot a message that looks suspicious, simply hit the ‘REPORT SUSPECTED SPAM’ link in your message window. This lets us know about it. Best of all, if enough people hit the button, Read the rest of this entry »

Mancentral have threatened Mothership Gay Dating with legal action over remarks made on Mothership about the Mancentral ‘promise‘ over its ‘100% free’ messages.

The ManCentral "promise"
In a recent post in the Mothership Blog (which followed a Mothership Gay Forums post made by a Mancentral member) I followed up on questions that were raised about Mancentral’s prominent home page statement that it was ‘100% free’ to contact other members. In fact only 10 messages can be sent for free in a 24 hour period, after which Mancentral members must pay.
Mancentral’s PR manager Lee Martin emailed Mothership requesting
that you remove this inaccurate and damaging information immediately

A gay couple from Mothership
Those who know me will tell you I’m a mild-mannered, tolerant, patient gay man who looks for the best in people, and would far rather praise than find fault. Well, not for this post. I feel the need to be critical about all those less scrupulous gay men on gay dating sites who variously dub themselves bi-curious, bisexual or in a gay relationship. Spare me from their pussyfooting antics. Give me a gay man, happy and confident in himself, who knows exactly what he wants - anytime. Read the rest of this entry »
