We’ve just created two new categories in the Mothership Gay Forums - Club 18-35 General and Club 18-35 Sex

The idea is to provide an area where our younger members can hang out when they would rather have the company of guys around their own age. Mothership’s age demographic has drifted upwards recently and of course there is nothing wrong with this, except that a gay dating site does need younger members to keep a buzz. Gay Men and Anger Issues

Are gay men angry?

Are gay men angry?

Is it me or do gay men have a lot of anger issues?

We’ve all heard the amusing expressions ‘drama queen’ and ‘hissy fit’ which surround gay men, and sometimes have an element of truth to them.

“Gay marriage? You wait till gay divorce!”

“I’ll make your best ever friend or worst ever enemy”

“Hell hath no fury like a gay man scorned!”

Well, I’ve been thinking about this subject quite a lot recently, as I’ve been dealing with quite a few anger issues of my own. Recognising, and starting to deal with, my own anger has helped me see it more and more amongst other gay guys. I’ve noticed a lot of anger on the Mothership gay forums recently (flaming), and in personal messages, and on TV, and when I’m in the shops, and in traffic, in fact all around me. Early indications on gay forums criticise the latest T Mobile advert in Trafalgar Square

The latest T Mobile advert in Trafalgar Square has been criticised on UK gay forums

The new advert by T Mobile set in London’s Trafalgar Square seems to be getting a consistent thumbs down from the gay community.  Posts across several gay forums have criticised T Mobile’s latest advert, where an estimated 13,000 members of the public were filmed singing ‘Hey Jude’ on Thursday 30 April.

The commercial, first screened last night during Britain’s Got Talent, was the latest of T Mobile’s adventurous ads which feature mass participation by members of the public at famous London landmarks.  However the 2 minute commercial, which included a surprise appearance by the american pop star Pink,  has taken a knocking on gay forums.
