Buckingham Palace Orders Bruno for Balmoral
Will the Queen be watching Bruno?
Buckingham Palace has emailed Univeral Studios asking for a copy of the film ‘Bruno‘ to be sent to Balmoral. Guess who the next guests are at the highland retreat? The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh!
Bruno is the outrageous film featuring Sacha Baron Cohen as the ultra camp, gay, Austrian fashion reporter. The film pulls no punches and is in turns cringe-worthy and extremely adult in nature, including a scene where Bruno gets his ‘privates’ bleached!
A spokesman for Buckingham Palace was unable to comment to the Mothership Blog!
The Queen is known for being very in touch with UK culture, but even so it is hard to see how this film would be to her taste. But perhaps we underestimate her - her mother the Queen Mother once famously gave an Ali G “Booyakasha” impersonation, so maybe her daughter also has a soft spot for Baron Cohen.
Even if the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh don’t watch it, the film’s humour is sure to be right up William and Harry’s street!
