Site Facts - a simple run down about the gay dating site - who owns it, who runs it, the domain, its market and the main site features
Style - a review of the site’s appearance, feel and character. This is a very broad topic with a lot of scope, but will help you decide if you’re going to feel comfortable using the site - if it’s really you.
Site Features - an analysis of the main site features, including where the site is strongest. There isn’t room to run through everything so a lot gets left out, but the site’s most important benefits are covered. If the site has great gay chat rooms, for instance, we’ll say so. If their search facility is complicated we may not, depending on how important that factor is.

Free or Paid - nearly all the main gay dating sites work on a simple formula. You can use the site for free, or pay to upgrade for better features. However, the interesting part comes when you see what each site will give you for free - this varies enormously, and is a very tricky one for the sites to get right! If they are too mean to their free users, they’ll lose traffic. If they are too generous, they’ll lose upgrades. We also look at how much the sites charge to upgrade.
Ups and Downs - all sites have them. We show their highs and lows, and give our opinion on what they’re doing right and wrong. The gay dating market is saturated and squeezed by free dating sites, free porn and free networking sites. The sites themselves are expensive to run - not just things like server and staff costs, but marketing - those interesting new members you see cost hard cash to recruit - and a lot of it.
