Gay Crush, Messaging Improvements and Mothership Ratings Boosted
Mothership has just launched a new gay dating tool - Gay Crush TM, as well as making some major improvements to the messaging system. That’s not all, Mothership Ratings has been given a makeover too!
Gay Crush TM
Welcome to your new gay dating weapon! You can use Gay Crush when you fancy another guy and you’d like to get to know him better (when a ‘you’re hot’ message seems too casual). You can see the new Gay Crush button at the top of member profiles.
The great thing about it is that when you crush another member your crush will be anonymous! Your identity is revealed when they have sent you a Gay Crush too. Then if you have both crushed each other (within 30 days), you get a ‘Love Match’ - and after that it’s up to you two!
This means that if you’re shy your interest in him won’t be revealed unless he fancies you too!
The only exception is if they are Club Class (or upgrade) then they will be able to see your identity. This is great too - because only guys who are REALLY curious about who has crushed them will upgrade to reveal your identity - and this will improve your chances!
What’s more, you can also send a Gay Crush to guys you fancy who are not Mothership members. They will get a special email inviting them to join Mothership to see who likes them - and after they sign-up in this one instance they will be able to see your identity without upgrading, and be given a chance to crush you back!
Gay Crush is fun, light and up. It has great graphics and doesn’t take itself seriously. It really helps to break the ice and bring hot guys together. Good luck! Now get crushing!
Message System Improvements
We’ve introduced one-click auto-replies to the messaging system. We still recommend you reply personally where you can, but in some cases the auto-replies say it all. It’s going to mean more guys replying to messages which is great for everyone.
Another enhancement for all members is an attachment icon so you can see what messages have photos or videos attached 
Club Class members can use the new address book facility. All your friends are in the book - and you can easily message them without searching for them or digging out an old message to reply to.
Mothership Ratings Boosted
Mothership Ratings has been given a boost by making it more prominent, and displaying a great graphic in the bottom of the messages inbox. Mothership ratings is great fun, and because you can’t rate less than 5 on Mothership, it is very positive too - so get rating, you never know where it may lead!
