Does he like me? His actions will speak louder than his words!
Does your mate fancy you? Is your gay date is into you too? Has your boyfriend lost interest?
This is the first in a series of posts which ask “Does he like me?”
Today, we’re talking about his actions - physical things which he does that help you figure out the answer to the question - does he like me? Generally in life, and in your love life, actions speak louder than words!
If you’re ever in any doubt about someone’s true intentions or feelings then look to what they do, not say!
Reasons to be With You
If he likes you, he is going to want to be around you. He’s going to want to hang out with you and do stuff with you. These feelings are strong. He’ll find reasons to be with you. He’ll bring you a drink at the party, or dance with you at the club. He’ll bump into you in the photocopying room. He’ll suggest things to do together. He’ll invite you places.
A genuine smile comes from the eyes
Smile
If he smiles when he’s with you, and smiles a lot then it’s a good sign! You are bringing him pleasure, and he’s showing it. Watch out that his smile is genuine and not put on.
How can you tell? A fake smile will seem detached from the colder expression in his eyes, whereas you can tell a real smile from the warmth in his eyes as much as his mouth.
You Catch Him Looking at You
If you catch him looking at you then he probably likes what he sees, especially if you catch him more than once! He is admiring you, and may secretly want to kiss you.
If he watches you sleeping then he really likes you (but this one is hard to spot!)
He Tries to Impress You
When you’re dating, or on a first date especially, then he you may find he tries to impress you!
So the next time he tells you for the 8th time about how he organised the Cromer gay picnic single-handedly, or swam the channel 4 times back-to-back with bricks in his swimming trunks for AIDS research then go easy on him! He probably likes you, and wants you to like him back.

He Tells Someone Else He Likes You
Technically this is words, not action, however his action in telling someone else he likes you, makes it far more likely to be true. So if he told your friends or work colleagues he likes you (in strictest confidence, of course!) then it is probably true.
Unexpected Presents
You don’t need a bigger clue than this. If he has gone to the trouble of choosing and buying a present for you - especially if he wrapped it - then he’s got you bad!
One word of caution - watch out for the ‘guilt’ present when he feels guilty about something…maybe something secret. Technically that means he’s bought the present for himself, because it is easing HIS conscience.
Also, tickets to his gay men’s chorus don’t count, or a new sex toy to ’share’ or anything you suspect may be from the ‘present draw’.
Gay Sex
Gay sex can be misleading. If he’s wild in bed it could just be a physical thing, and if he doesn’t seem keen to have sex it could be because he idolises you and is nervous.
However, on balance, a hard dick when you’re getting physical is a lovely compliment and is to be welcomed 
Does He Like Me? Your Gut Instinct
His actions are very important and they will give you clues as to his real feelings towards you.
But remember, when you’re asking “Does He Like Me?” you may have the answer inside you. As gay guys we can be very sensitive to our gut instinct, and as we get older our life experience makes it even more accurate. Learn to listen to it!
