ManCentral lies
One of Mothership Gay Dating’s members has recently complained about ManCentral on our Gay Forums.
Basically he is saying that Man Central promise that they are 100% free to contact other members, but when he tried to send message to other members he was prevented from sending any more than 10 messages unless he paid to upgrade his membership.
What Man Central promise
On the Man Central home page they state “100% FREE TO CONTACT OTHER MEMBERS” in capital letters in two places, one of them directly above their sign up box.
What Man Central deliver
Man Central allow 10 free messages a day. After that you must pay to upgrade to a higher membership tier in order to continue to send messages.

We’ve all seen them when using gay chat rooms - the brooding presence of the moderator lurking in the user list.
But isn’t it just too easy to type-cast the moderator? In actual fact, gay chat rooms can be subject to several distinct moderator types:
Gay Hitler
The gay Hitler possesses zero tolerance. Nothing gets by the gay Hitler, and nothing is forgiven. One transgression, and you’re banned for life with his caustic remarks ringing in your ears. Never cross the gay Hitler! You will be brought to account, and your online chat will be summarily executed.

One of the less attractive aspects of gay chat sites is when members argue amongst themselves. When the argument turns nasty, and angry, it becomes an internet phenomenon called ‘flaming’.
