The latest T Mobile advert in Trafalgar Square has been criticised on UK gay forums

The new advert by T Mobile set in London’s Trafalgar Square seems to be getting a consistent thumbs down from the gay community.  Posts across several gay forums have criticised T Mobile’s latest advert, where an estimated 13,000 members of the public were filmed singing ‘Hey Jude’ on Thursday 30 April.

The commercial, first screened last night during Britain’s Got Talent, was the latest of T Mobile’s adventurous ads which feature mass participation by members of the public at famous London landmarks.  However the 2 minute commercial, which included a surprise appearance by the american pop star Pink,  has taken a knocking on gay forums.
