A Dirty Boys Weekend in Gay Blackpool?
Mothership’s second ever meet on Earth will be held next Saturday at the Mardi Gras gay venue in Blackpool at 8.45pm! Mardi Gras is a lively and fun gay venue in Blackpool that comes heavily recommended by the locals - there’s even a cabaret with the outspoken host, Stella Artois!
A lot of Mothership Gay Dating members are going to be there - some travelling hundreds of miles - and it is a fantastic opportunity to meet up with your online cyber friends and see them in the flesh! (if you haven’t already)
If you arrive after 9pm please note Mardi Gras charges a small £2 entrance fee.
For those of you who’d like to make a weekend of it quite a few members are meeting on the Friday night and then having fun at the pleasure beach on Saturday.

Mothership Gay Book Club
We’d like to set up a book club on Mothership for guys interested in reading books that have interest to gay men. There won’t be any fees to pay, or commitment - it simply is a way to get guys talking and sharing about books they have read that have a gay angle.
The idea is every two weeks we’ll email you details about a different book - then after members have read it they can post comments about it on the Motherboard in a dedicated ‘Book Club’ area.
It really is as simple as that. Personally, I love a rainy day with a good book (or a sunny one on the beach!) - and, when I’ve been moved or touched by it then it is great to be able to talk to others about it.
